| The Respro City mask incorporates a replaceable charcoal filter, which protects against low level pollutants such as: Lead, Nitrogen Oxides, Sulphur Dioxide, Hydrocarbons, Particulate Matter, Ozone, Pollen, Bacteria and Viruses. The charcoal filter is made up of three layers; The two outer layers being particulate material and the centre, a 'weave' of charcoal cloth. Our charcoal filter is not a cloth impregnated with charcoal powder but is a 95% weave of charcoal dynamic performance against impregnated cloth functions it performs to a considerably higher standard, because of its greater internal surface area. It is also endorsed by the fact that the charcoal cloth filter used in our mask has been developed for the Ministry of Defence for use in chemical and bacterial germ warfare. The Respro City filter also protects those riders who suffer from breathing difficulties such as asthma and hayfever, which can be aggravated by pollution. |
